About Our Business
Who We Are
We are a small private breeder of premium red phase inland bearded dragons. Our
bearded dragons are kept in only the most lush enclosures in settings intended to
replicate their natural habitat. Our size permits more personalized attention to both you
and to your future bearded dragons. We selectively breed only the most beautifully
colored red phase bearded dragons with outstanding temperaments. Our hold back
breeder dragons are first and foremost, our beloved pets. They are treated with love
and affection and receive a lot of attention.
Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to breed high quality red phase bearded dragons and to sell them to our
customers at reasonable prices while advancing knowledge and awareness of
bearded dragon husbandry techniques.
How It All Started
Lone Star Dragons came about as a result of a curiosity which later developed into an
profound appreciation for bearded dragons. Like many, our first dragon was an
impulse buy from a local pet store. She was a very tiny normal phase bearded dragon
named Bumble. As she grew, we discovered that she had a significantly nipped tail
and a "don't mess with me" attitude (maybe as a result of the husbandry that resulted in
the loss of much of her tail). We learned a lot from Bumble and like to think that she
learned a lot from us. (Our line of red phase dragons did not develop from Bumble
since her coloring and temperament were both less than desirable.) Over time, we
began to acquire and breed red phase bearded dragons because we found them to be
the most attractive of all bearded dragons. Now, we are delighted to offer these red
phase bearded dragons, our pride and joy, to you. We hope that you enjoy our site and
