PRICE
We make every effort to avoid in-breeding by injecting unrelated bloodlines into our breeding colony. This makes
the process of developing beautifully colored dragons more time consuming, but it creates stronger and more
healthy dragons than those inbred strictly for color. As a result, we sometimes have tremendous variation
among hatchlings of the same clutch. As a result, our hatchlings are priced individually based upon color,
gender, size,and bloodlines. Most pet quality dragons range from $50 to $85; breeder quality dragons range
from $80 to $120; holdback quality dragons range from $125 to $300. We offer discounts for purchasing
multiple dragons during the same transaction.
PAYMENT
We accept money orders, cashier's checks, personal checks, PayPal, and Visa, MasterCard, American
Express, Discover through Pay Pal. In an effort to keep costs down (and thus, our prices to you), we do not
accept credit card payments directly, but rather, we ask that you make credit card payments through PayPal. The
PayPal service is secure and it is free. Please alert us when you mail your money order, cashier's check, or
personal check so we can be sure to hold your dragon. Dragons paid for via money order, cashier's check, or
PayPal are shipped upon receipt the payment. Dragons paid for via personal check are shipped once the check
clears the bank.
SHIPPING
We ship only to the continental United States of America. We ship all purchased dragons via overnight shipping
using UPS unless UPS does not offer overnight shipping to your area. If UPS does not offer overnight shipping
to your area, we will use whatever carrier offers overnight shipping to your area. During cold weather, heat packs
are included and enclosed within the box to keep your dragon warm. We reserve the right to delay shipping of a
dragon based upon weather conditions in the shipping route as we want to make every effort to ensure the safe
arrival of your dragon. If such a situation arises, we will contact you and discuss rescheduling shipment. A
standard shipping rate of $45 and will be charged for shipping and packaging materials. Multiple dragons can
often be shipped together in the same shipping box without increased shipping costs. We ship Monday through
Thursday. You must be present the following morning to sign for and receive your new dragon.
COLORATION
A dragon's coloration will vary based on a variety of factors including: lighting, stress level, age, and current body
temperature. Our dragons spend time in a variety of lighting environments. We have experienced the best color
results with natural sunlight. Artificial light including full spectrum UVA and UVB lighting has produced the
second best coloration in the dragons. Normal home lighting (florescent, halogen, and soft white) seems to
limit the coloration of most dragons. (UVA and UVB also have additional benefits beyond allowing the dragon to
show its true coloration. UVA wavelength increases appetite, physical activity, helps to induce reproductive
behaviors, and is beneficial to the psychological well-being of your dragon. The UVB wavelength allows your
dragon to regulate its own Vitamin D3 levels by endogenous synthesis as it would in nature, thus eliminating the
risk of vitamin D3 overdose (highly toxic) from synthetic sources.)
GUARANTEE
Our dragons are excellent eaters and our hatchlings diet consists of a combination of crickets, chopped greens,
and commercial dragon food. We guarantee that our dragons are healthy and eating well upon arrival at your
home. (If a hatchling were not eating well, we would not offer it for sale.) We offer a 100% guarantee for (7)
seven days from the shipment date. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your dragon (not eating well,
color not what expected, wife/husband/mom/children do not permit you to keep the dragon, etc.), you may return
the dragon and we will refund the cost of the dragon less return shipping. In the unlikely event that your dragon
dies during shipment, we will send a replacement dragon at no charge or we will refund your purchase minus
shipping charges. We guarantee the health of your dragon for (30) thirty days from shipment. In the event that
something does not look right with your dragon's health, contact us immediately and we will try to assist you.
Many times, minor adjustments in the dragon's husbandry (size of enclosure, basking light temperature/wattage,
diet, nutrient supplementation, etc.) can make a major difference in a dragon's health. All guarantees are void if
the buyer is not present to receive the dragon shipment during the shipping company's first delivery attempt.
While we make every effort to accurately sex dragons, gender cannot be guaranteed.
